Steve made some good points

here is Steve's post from the comment section

Any of the campgrounds suggested are OK with me, however has anyone given any thought to keeping food from spoiling. When you say camping I think of at least overnight, how long is the reunion going to be? I suppose most everyone will have to drive at least 50 miles, most will drive more. I plan on coming directly from Denver. So far I haven't been to work up that much excitement. Camping is fine but not everyone is willing to participate and with many staying in resorts or hotels what kind of an experience is that?

I think he has brought up a few good points. And something i had mentioned earlier on, I think that camping is going to deter some family away from coming. Not everyone likes to camp, and it is a lot of work. Coming from someone who has packed food for a small family of 4 for a 5 day camping trip. It is a lot of time and preparation packing coolers and keeping food cold enough to serve in a dew days. We take 2 BIG coolers just for a weekend trip. And if we are going to have food for a potluck and food for our own families that weekend, it will be a lot of cold storage. not everyone can sign up for chips and dip (which is what i CALL if we do this trip) :):) It definitely would not be able to be our typical "williams potluck"
Those that are choosing to not camp (steve, jeff and laurie, tom (sorry dad, i dont see you doing it :):):) If they were to stay in hotels they would be spending money and not really be there at all. I do think camping would be a lot of fun, but it seems like it may be difficult.

With people coming from such a distance it would be nice to get the most out of a visit. Just some thoughts.. i thought steve (or Old timer) made some valid points.
Maybe we shouldnt get to fancy just yet? :):)

Let's try to make some progress

A lot of emails have been flying around about locations. I know not everyone has time to respond and keep up with them. So here is the cliff's notes version. Let us know where you would like the 2009 Reunion to be located. What location will you MOST LIKELY be able to get to. Since i think we all agree, the more family the better. (I guess that is the point of a reunion)
So please take a few seconds to anonymously answer the poll below this post. I have the date set to end Aug. 1ST only beause of some of the camping options. We will want to make those reservations earlier than later.
